Client Brags!

Filed under: Client Results, Client's Websites, Motivation — phitnphat @ 8:10 am

The first of the month is like Christmas here at PNP! Ooooohhhh we lost some inches this month and I am so excited for all my girls. We averaged 7 inches lost per person and most of my girls are in months two and three of their program. That’s a lot of inches when you aren’t factoring in first month measurements!

Ya’ll would not believe how hard they work day in and day out. Each of them have committed to make this lifestyle work no matter what is going on in life. It really moves me to see them face down their fears of failure, the sabateurs in life, stressful situations, and the mental game playing that goes on when trying to become a healthy and fit woman.

It’s not always easy, though. Sometimes they get derailed. Life is ALWAYS going to happen. A question I am regularly asked is how did I get back on track when I lost my way during my journey. Since I’ve been doing it so long it is hard for me to answer. I can share with you one thing I know my clients do when the going gets tough or they “fall off the PNP Wagon”.

My clients reach out to me or someone in life who can cheer them up or chew them out. When you are trying to shed fat you need one person in life who will tell it to you straight. You need that one person who will listen, hold you accountable, remind you how special you are, and who will call you on your bull crap when you are just making sorry excuses. :)

Maybe you don’t have that in your life. Go out to the Weight Watcher message boards or whatever boards you frequent and find a group of people you like. Build a relationship with them. Check in daily and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. It’s tough to establish an accountability team. That means when you fail, because each of us will have less than stellar moments along this journey, you have to admit it to someone other than ourselves. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve worked out HARDER just because I know I have to post it in this blog!

Just because you can’t see online buddies doesn’t mean you won’t start to care about your accountability circle. You know, I have not met a single one of my clients but I feel close to each of them. I am blessed to be invited into their lives…to share their ups and downs. Sometimes I feel like I know them better than some of their loved ones (you guys know who you are). But, you don’t need a trainer like me to find that relationship. There are plenty of boards that will offer you support. Heck, post in my comments section under my daily blog. I would bet my biceps that my girls and other girls who come here will talk you off that cream puff ledge when you need it. I get over 600 hits a day. I’m sure someone, if not me, would share in your triumphs and lift you up when you need it.

If you are struggling and you need to get back on track I invite you to leave a message here and just talk about what is going on to keep you from reaching your goals. Describe what you really want out of your life and how you plan to get back on track beginning tomorrow. My readers will support you and they will help you brainstorm ideas to help you get on track. Often just making a plan and putting it to “paper” is enough to kickstart your efforts!

Client Trish! She’s doing awesome! At the bottom of the page you can scroll her before and afters.

Client Kathleen! You kick Adam’s booty this week!

Girl, I wanted to put up big pictures but the site kept inserting it funny. Your pics are amazing so everyone should click on the link to see the full album!!

Client Roxane! She is so hilarious, too, and this just six weeks. Roxane is relative newbie but man she cracks me up describing her tough workouts.

_______________

Workout Journal: Friday – 45 min. run outside and it felt great. I love running even though it doesn’t always love me. Alas, I’m going to keep at it because I swear it keeps me grounded. Saturday – Plyometric Workout for 50 minutes and it was tough. The whole workout was all sorts of jumping. That will be the only workout today because I will be working a Neighborhood Block Party all day.

Food Journal: Saturday

B - PB 1tbsp sandwich on WW with egg whites and diet juice
S – Atkins Bar
L – I’m brining some fruit and a turkey sandwich to the party in my cooler because our party will only have junk food that I don’t eat at it. My goal is no desserts or treats because Chris and I are drinking this evening a little bit. So I’ll save my splurge meal for that.
S – Banana and Protein Shake
D – SBD Pizza
S – Drinks!
S – After drinks I’ll probably have a Fage and pudding before going to bed.

  3. Hey Everyone!!! YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! I am super jealous!! Lately I have fallen off the wagon and managed to gain myself 10 pounds!! Very depressing!:( DH and I are trying to get pregnant and possibly I might be, which I have used for an excuse to eat whatever I want. I know you are not supposed to follow ww when you are pg but I think I will follow pretty closely adding an extra 5 points a day. I am going to continue to excercise as well. I have now stated my intention to get back on track, so starting Monday 6/4 I will be back in the saddle!! I am very excited. My only hope is that I will continue to follow the plan and be concious of what I am eating even though I am pg. I WILL NOT USE IT FOR AN EXCUSE TO GAIN WEIGHT!! Thanks for listening. Have a great day and keep up the good work!! Jamie

  6. I am not a fellow PNP’er but I hope to be soon. I am on the waiting list. I follow Corinnes blog religiously. Trish, Katherine and Roxanne you all look FABULOUS, you should be so proud of your hard work. I can’t believe the transformation that you all have made in such a short period of time. It really is hard to believe, but you have the pictures to prove it. Keep it up!

  7. Hi ladies,
I just wanted to say that you all look great keep up the good work.

I myself have fallen off the wagon.I got in a car accidnet about two months ago and the doc just released me to start walking. I need some motivation to talk me off the ledge. Maybe some suggestions on what exercise I can do. I hurt my back in the accident but it’s a lot stronger now. If anyone has any ideas or comments you can e-mail me at dahliaj408@yahoo.com

  8. Hi Dahlia,

Step away from the ledge! : ) I don’t have any great advice for you but just wanted to say hi and offer some encouragement. It doesn’t sound like you’ve fallen off the wagon…you didn’t seem to have a choice in the matter, and it’s just a temporary setback anyway! It’s great that you’ve been released to start walking. Walking is great and will allow you to get outside in the beautiful outdoors and enjoy the scenery. I hope others have some better advice, but I just wanted to say hi and send my best wishes for a speedy recovery! : *)

  9. Dahlia…you might want to look into setting up a couple of PT sessions to show you some strengthening moves. Physical Therapist, not personal trainer.

Walking is great too. I am walking every day myself because it doesn’t hurt my hamstrings, keeps me in a low aerobic zone, and strengthens my heart.

    Good luck to you!
